Folk Machine 2013 Pinot Noir labels

A wine label for Folk Machine's Pinot Noir artist series. The labels needed to feel accessible yet premium, while printed CMYK. To accomplish this, I combined a weak black image overlaid with strong process colors, giving the label a tactile look, similar to being screen-printed. Meanwhile, the imagery is simultaneously playful and mysterious. The wine sold out almost instantly (though this is largely because it was DELICIOUS!).
