Suicide Squeeze IPA - The Record
As part of a collaboration between Fort George Brewery in Astoria, OR and Suicide Squeeze Records in Seattle, WA, we created a vinyl record to accompany the release of the beer. The record featured music from featuring Modest Mouse, Black Mountain, Elliott Smith and Minus the Bear.
Process
1. Raw photo of bare aluminum can
2. Harsh glare of metallic can softened
3. Graphic isolated from separate shot
4. Can artwork applied
5. Green of lower snake body brightened
6. Yellow background applied
7. Raw photo background removed
8. Glare at neck of can reduced
9. Gradation at neck of can optimized to
arrive at final image
